                            DOGGY TALKS

Some of you may know that children and their healthy development are as important to us as our dogs.

 

Therefore, we not only sponsor the local Little League Team, but we also offer Dog Talks for Children in nurseries and primary schools. 

​

These are mainly run on request in Kent, London and Lincolnshire but not limited to these areas.

 

  Talks are fun and designed to engage children. Suitable for nursery and  primary school children .

 

We can tailor talks towards specific topics or use our planned talk, that focus on safety around the dogs. We teach empathy towards human's best friend as well as good care practice.

 

Speakers come with a toy dog and/or may be accompanied by their temperament-tested and vaccinated dog.

 

Each child receives a tiny gift that will make the experience more memorable.

 

As speakers, we are DBS checked and are appropriately insured. We have completed Safe Guarding Children, Autism Awareness, Challenging Behaviour Training and Paediatric First Aid courses. We hold Covid-19 prevention certificate too.

Eva, our Master dog trainer and tutor  for our online courses is certified in Animal Assisted Therapy, as well as mindfulness and counselling(member of professional organisations)

 

Eva and Miguel are certified dog trainers(NASDU members) ,Master Dog Trainers (Guild of Dog Trainers) and behaviourists, active dog handlers, and parents of  two boys and three dogs.

Our dogs are groomed, de-wormed, de-flea and have up to date vaccinations.

Our dogs are not fed nor permitted to be fed any raw diet or unpasteurised milk for their own and everyone around safety.

This is due to the increasing number of NHS trusts and education authorities stating the risks of such diet(E-coli, Salmonella or Listeria).
